What perfection I see. Characteristics of wisdom, stability, well-groomed, balance, and prosperity.
The roots have been properly trimmed and the excess has been removed. The results of the master’s hands. The characteristics of a loving, dutiful, focused mind. He carefully works to trim away the ugly, the ungodly diseases that linger close by a perfect life fighting to illustrate beauty to the eyes of the beholder. In hopes that the seer will emulate.
I pause. No dead fruit here, no rotten roots or brown withering leaves. There are no signs of anger, selfishness, bitterness, strife, stress or jealousy. I meditate on my thoughts. Am I in check? Am I as the care-taker grooming this specimen for a greater purpose? Do I continuously work with my spirit to reveal to me the things in my life where such perfect light can shine?
Show me, Creator, the areas along every branch, every detail to correct in order for my own stability. So that my main core is strong and the roots of my life will take hold in such a way those who may be tainted by life’s discourse will see and know there is a different path.
But only if we choose to take a moment and pause.
And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].
