Every photograph is, of course, an attempt to capture something that touches me. At times, it can be in the form of humor, a bit serious, or just the ability to make the image.
A sense of eyes following my every step caused me to stop and investigate the surroundings. The falcon had taken a spot on this dead tree, perhaps to rest from our earlier entanglement this morning. I became acquainted with him at the edge of the cliffs along the Pacific Coast. I thought I had captured more than enough photos to be a reminder for me later in life of this particular excursion but as nature would have it, the last word that is, there he was, glaring down my back waiting to see if I would notice or sense his presence.
I did and snapped for proof.
