OMMWRITER Experience
Most of you know I strive for simplicity. Sounds funny coming from a web developer but I really do try and make it the center of my being. Writing blog articles, or expanding on an idea requires a great deal of thinking for me. It requires no distractions. Also what is funny is the definition of the word "distractions" to people.
To me, it means no clutter on the computer screen, block out noises, some soft Zen-like music and then face to face with just me and the keyboard.
I am going to be writing from time to time about my work-flow, how I work and the tools and setup I use. And keep in mind, my computer of choice is by far the MAC. I love its simplicity and it does just work!
But for the writing part I stumbled upon this little piece of software that so far has fit the bill for me. It is simple. Not a lot of bells and whistles, clean zen design and the music, well its perfect for me. It only works on a mac so far, sorry PC users. And most of all its FREE. It is not meant to replace a word processor. But it has some great features. Enough for me. It works best with earphones to. Watch the video below and try it for yourself.
